The final countdown
If you’re close to retiring or if
retirement is looming on the horizon you really need to
plan ahead to avoid losing thousands of pounds of retirement income.
There is more to retiring than picking up a
gold watch and going home and if you don’t want to run out of time please do start planning now.
On average, a 65-year-old male is expected
to live for approximately a further 16 years and his female counterpart over 19
years* – this is a very long holiday to fund. Please make sure you explore all opportunities and make the most of your money.
It is sobering to think that collectively,
retirees in this country miss out on approximately £52.9 million** every year
by not exploring all their options and individually this can amount to thousands
of pounds every year.
Do what you can to
make sure you’re not one of them!
