The process
Initial contact – our first contact with you will
generally be by telephone, alternatively we can be contacted by e-mail, in
writing or via our website. At this stage, we would like to receive some
general information about you along with your proposed retirement date and
anticipated pension fund. The gathering of these details allows us to assist
you with your initial market research, enables us to provide you with relevant
literature and seeks permission from you to contact you at a later date to help
you further with the retirement process.
Research – on receipt of your checklist one of our
dedicated retirement consultants will contact you to acknowledge receipt of the
paperwork and will clarify with you what your objectives, aspirations and goals
are in retirement. In certain circumstances we will write to your existing
pension providers to obtain policy information along with an indication of what
benefits may be available from your current arrangements. Independent research
of the retirement market will then take place to allow us to formulate a report
and recommendation to match your circumstances and goals.
Present Solutions - your retirement consultant will
issue a tailored report having identified the most suitable product and provider
for your retirement needs.
Agreement – your retirement consultant will telephone
you to confirm that the report matches your objectives, goals and aspirations
as discussed during the “research” stage. If you require assistance in
completing the retirement paperwork your consultant will be on hand to help.
Administration – we will acknowledge receipt of the
retirement documentation; we will put into place the recommendation; we may
call upon your assistance in encouraging your existing pension providers to
execute all transactions in a timely manner and we will arrange for the
appropriate contract confirmation to be sent to you.
